Please carefully read the following terms and conditions applicable to the booking and use of our studio services.

Definitions

• “Studio” refers to AØB Studios and all its equipment, facilities, and services.
• “Client(s)” refers to any individual or entity that books the Studio or other related services.
• “Dry Hire” refers to renting the studio space without an engineer.

 

Bookings

• Bookings must be made in advance and are subject to availability.
• A deposit of at least £40 is required to confirm any session. 
• Bookings are not considered confirmed until the deposit has been paid and a confirmation notice, by email or text message, has been sent to the client by AØB or a member of staff.
• For dry hire, full payment must be made prior to the booking time. 
• For mix and masters, a 50% non refundable deposit is required and the remaining amount is due when the track(s) are ready to be sent to the client. 
• Mix and masters will be complete within seven working days from when the deposit is paid. 
• Clients are allowed unlimited revisions, within reason, until satisfied. 
• By booking, clients are agreeing to potentially having their  session recorded, edited, and posted on social media for promotional and marketing purposes. You can request to not have your session filmed and/or posted on social media 

 

Payment

• The remaining balance of the booking fee is due at the conclusion of the recording session.
• Payment must be made via cash or bank transfer. PayPal is not accepted.
• For Dry Hire, full payment must be made prior to booking time.
• For mix and masters, the outstanding balance must be paid prior to the engineer sending the finished track(s). 

 

Cancellations and Rescheduling

• Clients may cancel  their session by providing at least 24 hours notice.
• If a cancellation is made with less than 24 hours notice, the deposit will not be refunded or transferred to a later booking date. 
• To reschedule a session, Clients must notify the Studio at least 24 hours in advance. Rescheduling is subject to availability and may incur additional charges if specific demands cannot be met under the new timeframe.
• The Studio reserves the right to cancel any booking at any time. In such an event, all payments, including the deposit, will be refunded in full to the Client.

Studio Session

• Clients are required to arrive promptly for their sessions. Late arrival may result in a shortened session with no reduction in the agreed fee.
• The Studio will provide a sound engineer for the session. Additional technical staff may be available upon request and might incur extra charges.
• Clients are responsible for all other aspects of the recording session, including, but not limited to, musicians, instruments, and storage media.

 

Conduct in the Studio

• Clients and their guests are expected to behave in a professional manner at all times. The Studio reserves the right to terminate a session and retain payment if behaviour is deemed unprofessional or disruptive.

 Liability 

• The Studio is not responsible for any loss or damage to personal property. 

 

Miscellaneous

• The Studio reserves the right to change these terms and conditions without prior notice.
